The City’s Culture, Art and Heritage Commission is a nine-member volunteer group responsible for facilitating the development and promotion of a thriving cultural, art and heritage environment that reflects the people we serve. This is accomplished through the creation of community-informed programs, ownership of buildings and public art, and a commitment to community partnerships.

Council Subcommittee 2 recently interviewed candidates for this commission and recommends the full-term reappointment of Lee Rafferty and Christine Richardson as well as the appointment of Ricky Gaspar with terms effective January 1, 2024, and expiring December 31, 2026. 

If there are no objections, we would like to make this appointment at the Monday, March 11, 2024, Council meeting.
