Purchases are expected to exceed the current $300,000 threshold, requiring Council approval. The current contract has been utilized at approximately $265,355.63. The increase of this threshold to a maximum of $600,000 for the next additional two years, ending December 31, 2026, will enable Vancouver Police Department to continue to purchase radios in a quick manner while taking advantage of the Washington State Contract’s competitive pricing.
